We decided to brave the elements (mosquitoes and heat, especially) and go on a family camping trip this weekend. It was wonderful! We ended up at a state park that we probably wouldn't have normally tried but everyone else also had the idea of going to the mountains and there were no campsites open. Instead, we went to Tugaloo State Park on the GA/SC state line and right on Lake Hartwell. We camped over Saturday night and then rented a pontoon boat on Sunday for half the day. I will let the pictures say it for me.

Looks like fun!! :)
It does look like fun! Where did you rent the pontoon?
I think it was at Harbor Light Marina. It was a couple of miles from the campground. They had all kinds of boats. We had a great time!
Looks like a great time was had by all... I am glad you had a nice family getaway!
Looks like great fun!
Looks like just about the perfect weekend! I bet the boat was so much fun, and big adventure for the boys. There's nothing like good family time.
